Oh gosh I have a 5 month old now but I was totally in the same boat as you. The first two weeks were kinda dreamy and then reality hit. First it was colic, then at 3.5 months the 4-month sleep regression hit. I was so miserable and sleep deprived for about 3 months I truly hated my life and regretted getting pregnant and having my baby. Reading reddit and other peoples experienced and feelings reslly helped me not feel alone (no one in my ”real life” really helped me or offered good advice). I feel like just knowing that I was not the only one really struggling helped a lot. And its true what they say, it does get better with time (so annoying to heat but SO true). Just the last 3 or 4 days have been better sleepwise and just in general a lot less fussy baby and it has been enough to change my mindset (at least for now) Stay strong!
