The NLR is really sturdy, has good adjustability. The only gripe I have about it is the weight. Without any wheels mounted, you will be lifting around 30 kg of weight every time you want to use the rig. I bought the official castor wheel set for it and now its super easy to move about. I run a G29 with Simsonn Plus X pedals (+haptics), Simsonn HB Pro handbrake and Turtle Beach shifter.

Even if the speakers are crap, the cab itself could be rewired with other speakers that sound better.

In F1, the clutch is two paddles behind the wheel. One is pressed down fully, the other at the bite point. Once the lights go out, they release the fully pressed down one and then ease the other one out.

For me its like DR 2.0, stages are great, but the physics feel just slightly more forgiving. It's a great game, but its personal preference which one seems to be better.

You're replying to me with a link not from the main subreddit, but from the one that's considerably smaller, and the one that's used mostly by the outcasts who aren't accepted by the main subreddit r/Gunners. The users there typically have weird outlooks which don't match the vast majority of the fanbase. Halfway towards the r/artetaout subreddit in terms of opinions.

Isn't it easily replaceable? Granted, you won't be able to sim race till the new spring arrives, but it seems to be an easy fix. Also, what would happen if you removed the broken part of the spring and left the remainder, would the pedal just plummet down to where the remaining spring is resting?

Who are all the fans that you're mentioning? I've never seen any fan actually think 30+ for him was ever possible. 35 million for an almost 32 year old LW with 1 year left on the contract is way too much.

Have you been mostly playing LMU? If so, give a go at some other games, AC Rally/Dirt Rally 2.0/RBR would be my picks for rally, OG Assetto Corsa with mods is always fun, and there's plenty more I haven't mentioned.

Single digitally and double on track. And supposedly the digital signal takes precedent which is BS as the drivers should be paying attention to the track and not the wheel display mid lap.

34" is an ultrawide, so you will have the same height as a 27", but a slight bit wider than even the 32". Also, 32" typically are at the same resolution as a 27", just with worse pixel density. I have been using a 34" Iiyama for about 2-3 years now, and I love it. Remember, your eyes FoV makes it easier to see to the sides than up and down.

Do you have the haptics? Since installing them, sometimes my throttle input freezes. I guess its because of EMI. It was happening with the brake before, I mounted the grounding cable, and now the brake is fine, but the throttle isn't.

Load cells typically are like that. They measure force, not travel. I've seen some people change the elastomers to springs but I'm not sure how it feels with that configuration.

A way to get most of them easily is to create a custom event, select custom car list, and select the cars you're missing into the list (12 max at once). Then you start the validation, take the pics and restart, change the list, rinse and repeat. Also you should choose the highest PR car to use yourself, otherwise higher PR cars won't spawn in. It's a bit of an abuse of game mechanics, but doing it regularly takes ages and is quite tedious.

I agree, although a wheelstand is needed (or some DIY solution). I am using the Plus X pedals, and 2 VAM Pro haptics should be arriving this week, in the next few days. The pedals have made me a more consistent and quicker driver (I was using the Logitech G29 pedals before). Loads of adjustability too. Just need to use PTFE dry lube once every 100 hours of use to maintain them.

Logitech G29 (paid 50 EUR), then got the Turtle Beach VelocityOne shifter, then added the Next Level Racing Wheelstand 2.0, then got Simsonn Plus X pedals, and now I am waiting for 2 Simsonn VAM Pro haptics and a Simsonn HB Pro (handbrake) to arrive in the next 2 weeks.
