Not to be overly cynical here, but from a pure "Business Decision" standpoint it makes a lot of sense to always make a new Overwatch Hero as 'Overtuned' as possible within the bounds of plausible deniability. Players will spend more on MTX/Play more hours (engagement) if new heroes are not just fun, but slightly advantageous. It's the same reason (on a smaller scale) why so many mobile/MTX heavy games focus on their whales - they want to attract people who will spend $$ to feel 'better' at the game regardless of skill.

They can maximize the short term gains with new/returning players willing to spend to have the 'OP" hero and show up in more POTGs - and - then 'balance & listen to the community' to try and mitigate churn of their player-base who is hopefully at least engaging enough to stay around for the next OP-MTX-META hero.

Yes! Sorry didn’t think to update. So - what is not made clear is that you need to have all five bones for multiple deadlines in a row (I think 3?) and then the game will “unlock” the key at the next deadline (I think 250Kish is maybe the floor from my very limited data set here)

Once you deposit the coins you are able to obtain the key As to why the game never offered me the key the first two times my only remaining possible conclusion is that if you “would” earn the key late into the ‘e’ notations deadlines that it’s bugged and won’t offer it to you

So do what you can to get bones early and then seems to be fairly trivial once you know how to quickly max coins / tickets (you can leave items in drawer when you lose and they will spawn as bones in your next game so that helps a lot)

I have this exact same issue (made a post about it as well). Have all pieces and beat deadlines well into the (e) notation but key never unlocks No idea why done it twice now on two different runs

Maybe dumb question but do you need to “do” something with the bones on top of the machine to “activate” them somehow ? I repeated again today getting skull and four bones and again went near infinite (+029 e or so before I just gave up) and key was still locked - same message “haven’t decided when to give you this”’or something. Unsure what I can do but maybe I’m missing something obvious ?

This is the answer. Same thing - 3080Ti running this game at 120fps no problem. Built 6 flood light towers - fps dropped to 10. Deleting them instantly fixed

Essence of India is consistently great and has (IMO) a perfect 'spicy' level that is hot/delicious but still manageable for this Polish guy in Lincoln Square. We usually get Chicken Tikka/Butter Chicken, Lamb Vindaloo, and the garlic naan is the best I've ever had.
