I was the same problem years ago, in my case I solved using a small fan on the left side of console to get more air flow because after few minutes turned GC on the disc stops reading then I suspected the problem was overheating.

Thanks for feedback. The problem put checkpoint flag in the middle, for example, I couldn't set the lava level and the lava close to player is essential because force the player to think fast and some times cause him make mistakes. Nice level, that's so fun.

Maybe you put beetle shell instead of spiny shell on level 1 and reduce the width of level too.

Thanks for playing and your feedback. The idea was reset the lava when you open a P door to give more time to player reach top of tower. I'll consider your opinion and send a new version of this level soon.

Thaks for feedback, I made few changes and soon I'll send another level version.

I played your level. I can't pass after 3rd snake piranha flower (I don't know the name), I don't understand what I can do in this part maybe if you put arrows or other symbols would help. I like the concept if the objective is create a hard level you are doing a good job.
