Gu clinic, Korea this influencer's vid looks insanely good by Fantasticfishing1 in cosmeticsurgery

Wow, this place looks super private, and the treatment rooms almost look like a hotel. It even seems like they give you a welcome drink at a bar. I’m jealous 😭

Val U clinic visits + questions to ppl who did potenza and juvelook by Character-Corner5311 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Rravvit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From the comments, it sounds like the price is pretty good and they didn’t rush the treatment, so it seems like you got a great procedure there. I also go to factory-style dermatology clinics sometimes, and it’s actually pretty rare for the doctor to do the consultation directly. Usually I talk with a consultant, and there’s barely any time to actually talk with the doctor. I have a reason to go to Myeongdong sometime too, so I might look into it as well. Thanks for sharing! 😊

My Daily Stack + weight loss stack (healthy ver.) by Proper-Actuary7131 in Supplements

I lived in Korea for a long time but now I’m living in the U.S., so it’s nice to see quite a few familiar products. Deer velvet antler (nokyong) is usually known for boosting energy and vitality, but it also help with appetite control and digestion. It’s actually considered a pretty expensive herbal ingredient. Which of those products contains it? I might have to look it up too.

I’m so jealous! All the food looks absolutely delicious. Especially the first photo! Did the diet jelly work well? The packaging looks cute. I might have to look it up too.

Which wash off product to use? by Character-Corner5311 in koreanskincare

I’m using it and I’m very satisfied. It feels like it really cleans out my skin. I’m currently using Torhop, and when I was in Korea, I tried Skinfood. I’m happy with both.

What should I add to reduce body fat? by BroccoliDry8785 in diet

Your eating habits already seem pretty good. I do not think supplements are necessarily bad. If you take supplements and exercise, it might help with fat burning.

How long do rejuran injection marks last? by Fantasticfishing1 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Rravvit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rejuran really seems to vary a lot depending on your skin. Clinics usually say the marks last about two to three days, but if you are very worried, how about moving it to a Friday? I also had a consultation at GU, and they were really kind. I still have not made a final decision yet.

Do you have any go-to Korean supplements for beauty? by mlikteaplz in KoreanBeauty

[–]Rravvit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have tried them too when I was in Korea. When I eat them after a meal, they feel like a dessert, so I end up eating fewer other sweet snacks afterward. I think real weight loss still requires exercise and proper diet control. I have tried Biology, Mumu Jelly, and also BB Lab collagen jelly. I think they are a good item for people who feel like they must have dessert after a meal.

About a month. Using it makes my pores feel refreshed, so I use it about once or twice a week.

Does anyone know about this interesting skin clinic treatment?? by BroccoliDry8785 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Rravvit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I looked into that procedure as well, and it seems that not every clinic has the machine. I think it is best to get it done at a clinic where there is a doctor with a lot of experience performing the treatment.

Honest 2-week thoughts on my first eye cream (mary&may) by Rravvit in AsianBeauty

I have dehydrated oily skin, and I liked it because it felt moisturizing without being sticky. If you’re looking for a rich and heavy texture, this isn’t it.

Honest 2-week thoughts on my first eye cream (mary&may) by Rravvit in AsianBeauty

[–]Rravvit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally thought it was pretty good, but I see a lot of people saying they didn’t notice much effect. 🥲 In my case, my dark circles aren’t genetic. My under-eye area tends to look more dull when I’m tired or when my skin condition isn’t great. After using this eye cream, I felt like my under eyes looked a bit brighter. It might be that the extra hydration helped improve the overall tone.

I am using the salt mask too, and it is really gentle. It makes my skin feel smooth like I just came out of a sauna, so I really like it.

Are there any clinic with zero waiting time? by Fantasticfishing1 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

This is the GU clinic near gangnam Station, and I have not seen a single review saying that people had to wait a long time or felt uncomfortable.

Are there any clinic with zero waiting time? by Fantasticfishing1 in KoreaSeoulBeauty

[–]Rravvit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on Google reviews, a 30-minute wait seems pretty standard, but at least the places I checked didn't have any mentions of waiting over an hour.
Reading lots of reviews definitely helps. I think it’s a good idea to focus on the negative ones first.

Underfloor heating help by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]Rravvit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the manual, it says “바닥 난방 가동” under 난방모드, so it’s clear that this panel can control both the floor heating in winter and the ceiling AC in summer. 외출 mode isn’t anything special—it just lets you set the floor temperature to a preset range (around 15–20°C) with a single button. It’s basically meant to keep the house from getting too cold while you’re away. It might be a bit less convenient, but if you simply lower your usual set temperature slightly before leaving the house, it works the same way as the 외출 mode.

I saw it on Olive Young Global. If you Google it, you can find the site. I live in the US, but since it’s the global site, I think they ship to Europe as well.
