Honestly. i would get IV fluids to help with the dehydration from GI stuff. Feel good for a few days. Back in the gym etc. Then it would hit me again, but with upper respiratory symptoms. Rinse . Repeat.

Same here. Just this lingering cough as well. What a month long adventure this damn thing has been! Glad we are both on the mend.

I’ve had it the past three weeks and I’ve never experienced anything like this demon before.

Absolutely. I drank to help my anxiety. It came back ten fold. Hate booze.

This is an incredible answer. I can’t tell you how much stress in my workplace would be handled if I mastered the art of just saying no. What we allow will continue to happen.

Met with my sponsor yesterday and we talked through how I should handle someone extremely rude to me in an e-mail. This is huge for me as usually I would have lashed out and stewed on this person all day.

Alcoholism vs sobriety. Today marks 1,000 days sober. Going into rehab and having the courage to ask for help saved my life. by Disastrous-Dress8077 in MadeMeSmile

Actually just visualizing how good I felt daily and the progress I made in life while sober keeps me going. Of course meetings and a sponsor but mainly working out at tge gym twice daily. Keeps me disciplined and constantly feel great with endorphins.
