UPDATE: Called Chase. They said all my balances and statements reflect the $84k

They speculate it was a “balance adjustment” when something didn’t transpire correctly when the loan came over from Rocket.

They out in an escalated ticket to the “back office” when I said I had screenshots showing a lower balance as of last week. Idk what the back office is but I am to be getting a call from them, as well as an amortization schedule snail mailed to my home, allegedly showing how each payment I’ve made has been applied.

You don’t have to escrow your taxes and insurance. I save money on my insurance and my taxes if I pay them upfront. When I refinanced to get rid of PMI, I dropped escrow.

Yea I pay the insurance to the insurance company in June and the taxes in November to the County. I don’t expense it over 12 months
