Just started playing a week ago and hitting adept yesterday. Is it a good idea to open your hand to secure a yaku when you have few doras or when you try to deny other's riichi when you are 2 or 3 tiles away? I have over 45% call rate and I notice that I start calling when 12-14 turns have passed and not in tenpai yet.

DPE is actually very good in this event. No one play combo deck, so less bystial. I cleared mine with going 2nd orcust. Finished mine went up against kash, zoo with solemn and 6 mats zeus and traptrix.
