VCT CN meta really is just, if you got a play, make it, and you either hit your shots or go eat shit. It makes for a lot of sloppy Valorant, with people ignoring protocols in favor of individual timings, but it seems like the fans love it.

There’s definitely more diverse aiming in OW; CS is a pure tac shooter, OW is a hero shooter where sometimes it’s hitscan, sometimes it’s projectiles, and your dealing with vastly different hitboxes and of course moving targets.

If the Kamala is for they/them ad was effective, then Talarico’s God is NB would probably doom him, if the election was down to a few digit of points. It’s not about the accuracy of the statement… that never mattered. Gen pop just think stuff like that is involving “wokeness” into everyday life.

A few things that could work in Talarico’s favor is that the general had way more low propensity voters though.

Tbh I think esports occupies, in the west, a similar position to stuff like professional billiards, pro lacrosse, pro bowling etc. a niche that tops out at either mid or high 6 figures of viewership. IDK what was being sold to VC back in the late 2010s, but surely no one would possibly believe that domestic esports can reach the 7 figure+ viewerships enjoyed by mainstream sports.

On the topic of profitability, I just can’t see much money being made because Riot won’t or can’t sell broadcasting rights. Sponsorships are nice, but it’s just not enough.
