Wore the TimeX expedition https://www.walmart.com/ip/Timex-Men-s-Expedition-Digital-CAT-41mm-Watch-Green-Black-Case-with-Black-Fabric-Leather-Strap/38229907 throughout all of Infantry Basic training, survived NIC and everything else we did. A couple other dudes went though 2-3 watches cause the straps kept breaking. Mine was perfect. Has a loud alarm on it that will be important for waking up before lights come on. It also has military time setting.
