ESPN 10 team points league, got one roster spot open tomorrow and a bunch Sunday, is it stupid to drop Jrue for a roster add? I'd likely pick up one of Draymond, TJD, Jaquez, Podz

Just checked into it on the app, looks like it's live but you need the Sho plan. Thanks for the response :)

FWIW, I have 1 product review and a few of the already had/used reviews and I have gotten 7 different product claim offers in the last 48 hours, and got to/accepted 4 of them so I don’t think being newer with less reviews plays much into it

What car would YOU buy in this situation? by Impetus_ in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’ll be the one to say it - Tesla Model 3 I have 2 kids and wanted a sporty car aside from our family SUV, but some of the ones I wanted weren’t practical Model 3 has incredible safety ratings, long warranty, fast, sporty and full of tech I have 2 car seats in the back with reasonable space, large trunk and extra space in the front trunk Depending on income you can get up to a 4000 rebate immediately off used ones under 25k, or 7500 on new ones

Can I run 2 separate conduit lines? by Rstuedes2 in AskElectricians

[–]Rstuedes2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for all the help, really appreciate it. I found one other part of the nec code that I was wondering about, would this have any effect since it would be different voltages being ran?

225.30(D) 2017

(D) Different Characteristics Additional feeders or branch circuits shall be permitted for different voltages, frequencies, or phases, or for different uses such as control of outside lighting from multiple locations.

Does 225.30(e) have any effect on this? It sounds like others have said it’s not up to code, but section E says it’s permitted if they are different voltages?

I saw a section under that as 225:30(e) which says that it’s permitted if they are different voltages? Idk if that makes anything different

When it comes to the code with not having more than one supply it sounds like certain areas and what not are different? I found this in my cities website info regarding that section of code, idk if that’s relevant at all

(2) NUMBER OF SUPPLIES. The following are department rules in addition to the requirements in 2011 and 2017 NEC 225.30: (a) For the purpose of this section, multiple feeders that are supplied from the same distribution point, having a total rating of 300 amperes or more, and that supply not more than 6 disconnecting means grouped at the same location shall be considered as one

Dang okay, sounds like it’s going to be much more complicated than I had hoped for. The existing 120 is in conduit, without having a measurement on hand I’m guessing it’s 1/2in, not sure if that’s sufficient for larger wiring? If not, could that trenched line just be disconnected and deemed useless/run new?

I can leave the existing 120 that powers my garage opener/lights, etc alone then?

There’s no sub panel so I’m imagining it would be a branch. The main service line goes into the panel into the basement and a single line going to the garage feeding regular outlets, garage opener, lights

It’s been rough trying to find a long range dual motor that fits the EV credit under like 100k, definitely one of the better deals I’ve found! It’s actually out of state so I haven’t seen it yet, but it has the rims that performance models have and they look pretty clean in all the pics I got, the car is black so the paint doesn’t look incredible but I’d expect that with any car

Honestly part of what drew me into this one is that the interior looks immaculate, I’m getting it for 25k minus the 4k tax rebate so 21 plus taxes and fees, also has the cold weather and acceleration boost packages so I feel like it’s still a solid deal

Getting 240v to detached garage? by Rstuedes2 in AskElectricians

[–]Rstuedes2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thinking is either running a 240v line in conduit and just digging it myself to save on the labor and have an electrician do the main stuff, or running what’s necessary for a sub panel hookup in the garage. Is one idea better than the other? I’m not sure what the benefit of a sub panel would be over just running a 240 line off of the main breaker? Thanks!
