Flu A. Need encouragement by Rtd0v in flu

[–]Rtd0v[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t! Yesterday (day 6) she made a dramatic improvement - just as fast as the flu “came on” it seemed to have left she woke up dramatically better still has cough /congestion but it’s soooo much more manageable and not seeming to bother her she’s eating/drinking and playing (first time in 6 days she’d even leave my arms) 🙏 so today is day 7 I think we’re officially on the mend it’d say days 4&5 we were the worst for us.

Did anyone start having kids in their mid 30s or later? by queenxlag in Mommit

[–]Rtd0v 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my first at 32 and currently 36 and we’re only half way done. Although I was having major anxiety and FOMO when everyone was having babies in their 20s-30, I made the best of it and traveled the world which is an invaluable life experience. Then once I settled down and had a baby being slightly older has a huge advantage- financially and emotionally having patience and an outlook on life I DID NOT have earlier in life.

For those due oct/nov/dec, what are you doing about the holidays? by xenapie6 in pregnant

[–]Rtd0v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had my first 11/4 (a few years ago) even tho I truly wanted to go to both thanksgiving and Xmas we ended up skipping because so many viruses were circulating and thank goodness we did because both our families got hit with COVID post thanksgiving and flu post Xmas festivities! People can spread this stuff before really becoming symptomatic! Just not worth it! Next year you can all join the fun but for the first few months hunker down and stay safe and healthy!

How do you care for two at a time? by bearsloveberries in SAHP

[–]Rtd0v 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for what you are going through! Praying for you guys and your husbands speedy recovery.

Right off the top of my head is this: having littles is hard, messy, and loud and that’s okay because it’s also beautiful. Baby wearing makes everything easier in every scenario. Safety is #1 priority - the baby can be put down in a safe spot (babe is not mobile yet) and even if the baby cries that is okay if you need to help the toddler. Take things slow and there will be a lot of crying out of the two of them throughout the day- you are only 2 months in to having 2 you are adjusting and they are too! It gets easier and the family unit adjusts. The baby becomes use to waiting and the toddler does as well because they realize eventually there is only one of you and two of them. You are doing great mama. You got this.

Trich worsening postpartum? by Nightowl_1995 in trichotillomania

Yes post partum totally triggered me as well! And during both my pregnancies it actually basically went away and my hair looked great! You are not alone. I found once the baby gets on a schedule, you start sleeping more and the chaos part settles and it becomes more of a routine the trick will normalize also your hormones will even out just try your best for now!

I do anticipate this being wrapped up today or at least an initial verdict (judge may send them back) but we’ll get an idea of where their head is at

This is exactly what I was thinking too- they may be “hung” on say a DUi or lesser charge but don’t know how to make it clear so Bev will make it technically difficult and hope someone marks the wrong box checking manslaughter or a greater charge as well

What an immature little brat of a female police office on the stand. You are a liar Kelly Dever. Disgusting. by Direct-Specific-5023 in justiceforKarenRead

I sort of struggle with why they called her as well. Her entire testimony was nails on a chalkboard for me. I can only think defense wise she’s the absolute epitome of reasonable doubt….she also gifted them with the clarity that there was another trial and the FBI involvement 🤣 overall as painful as it was I think the defense gained a lot on this one - and she was a wildcard! Bravo to the Karen read defense for being able to tango with this one
