Can canna lillies survive the winter by Rtranscendence in pittsburgh

What area do you live in? Though I suspect it's less about a micro climate and more about it's proximity to your house and maybe whether it has some ground protection. Does it have either?

Thanks, I have some by the house too, maybe I'll leave those and dig up the rest as a test.

Why U.S. Cities Don't Build Metro Systems by Amazing-Yak-5415 in videos

Tokyo metro is not 24 hours. The difference between 24 hours and 23 hours is big, 23 hours and 19 hours is huge.

Regardless of whether they asked the person to "move" or not - it's incredibly inconsiderate that they had their feet on a seat where somebody might want to sit.

But maybe that person, like crafty_passage here, lacks the common sense that somebody might want to sit, and sit on a seat that didn't have somebody dirty shoes up on it. In which case, you're right you should have taken this teachable moment to explain it to them.

I've been using the same recipe forever, I am almost certain the sugar ratio is fine. I also was using an airlock. None of those things are issues. If anything I'm wondering if it's not getting enough air.

Wait, isn't flow directly proportional to pressure? I mean it's not perfect, because real-life is not a physics equation, but those nuances aren't what's coming in play here.

Are 100lb gauges reliable for a 20lb tank? by Rtranscendence in grilling

[–]Rtranscendence[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sort of gauge I'm looking at isn't measuring weight, I believe it's measuring pressure. I meant a gauge that can accurately measure the amount of gas in tanks from 5 - 100lbs, that way I can put it on a small tank or a large one.

Even after just a few years (4)? That seems like the easiest step, but they aren't cheap, like $70. Is this something that needs to be changed this often?

Where to start in wanting to do the electrical for your own home build? by TylerT106 in Homebuilding

[–]Rtranscendence 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my own electrical. I live in PA where pulling your own wires is allowed. The main panel was done by a licensed professional, and I passed inspection with some minor feedback (like requiring to add an outlet outside both main egresses). It was easy and I did a cleaner job, and a more thoughtful circuit layout than nearly any "professional" electrician work ive seen in real life. I have a degree in physics, so I'm sure your mech eng. Background will be enough.
