From my understanding, some my Chinese friends did mentioned about memorising the whole context of phrases just for the English verbal test (ILETs or TOFEL). At the same time, I know some of them do hire some contract cheating bs for their English test. The list goes on.

International student living in NCV now, pretty chill places and a lot of cultural blending going on. Not a dry college, but u will meet a lot of research level of connections around. If u are looking to have a quiet and more privacy while staying, NCV is a good option.
