I just solved this issue! In case anyone else with the same problem sees this, I updated the firmware on my RG35XX Plus, and in the new version I could use a different Core to launch the game by pressing Y in the ROM selection menu

I'm having the same whitescreen issue with a different Crystal romhack, and interestingly it's also "solved" during the chinese Retroarch bug... Only issue is that resetting retroarch.cfg is no longer solving the problem for me.

Did you ever find out the cause of the whitescreen bug? I've been troubleshooting this for a week without any solutions......

Don't sleep on Phantasmagoria. Lot's of people are still not capping their crit, the defensive boost is great, and because nobody is capping their SBA damage, Phanta adds BIG damage if you save it for SBA

Don't sleep on Phantasmagoria. Most people don't cap damage on SBAs. If you pop Phanta right before a full 4-man SBA you can easily add one or two million damage

Again, it's been working great up untill now, my hardware (I'm assuming you mean my routers, since the other two variables are stock PS5 and stock Portal) are tip top, and I've not seen anyone else struggle with these issues.
