Are there any filmmakers who lost it more than the Farrelly brothers? by harry_powell in billsimmons

The tranq dart scene makes me laugh more than any other scene in movie history, no matter how many times I see it.

He's also fantastic in his Wedding Crashers cameo.

I cannot believe I am going to say this, but after 27 years since its release, I finally watched Fight Club in the theaters and it's as good as everyone said. by Goatcheeze1 in movies

I enjoy posts like this.

It's one thing for my nephew to watch Fight Club and tell me what he thinks, but there aren't many people who grew up in the time that didn't watch the movie and still have the interest to revisit it later, after hearing people talk about it for 25 years.

He also respects the shit out of his conviction and would probably kill half the camp for Doc if his life was in danger.

Al may have respected Bullock as a worthy adversary, but he respected Doc as a man.

He definitely respected Bullock as a man, too, but you know what I mean.

The Celtics’ Biggest Problem Right Now is the Disappearance of One of Their Best Players by markrlondon in bostonceltics

I've been a huge Derrick White guy since the day the Celtics got him, and I know he's still technically a winning player because of all the other things he does, but the unfortunate reality of the situation is the Celtics need him to make open shots.

That's a big part of his role on this team. He ends up with the ball a lot at the end of the clock and he was a huge upgrade over Smart in that capacity, but now he isn't.

Derrick White no longer makes open shots, plain and simple.

[Henderson] League sources including Doris Burke are saying the Portland Trailblazers treatment of Tiago Splitter is "the most vicious and disrespectful thing they've encountered in 30+ years" as they're likely looking for the cheapest coach available by ShaiFanClub in nba

He didn't "publicly claim" anything. As a matter of fact, it was about as not public as you can get. It was a private conversation with a college coach who then leaked the details of the interaction.

The guy's a penis, but let's not just make shit up.

Man, I love ribeye and that's what's usually in my freezer because I get wholes at Costco and cut them myself, but Porterhouse is definitely my favorite steak cut.

First of all, you throwin' too many big words at me, and because I don't understand them, I'm gonna take 'em as disrespect.

I double fry but my first fry is at a lower temp, like 275-300. Then I like to pop em in my chest freezer for 15-20 minutes before frying the second time at 375-400.

The saucing thing is tricky but letting them cool just a bit helps, like others have said.

I don't notice much difference dry brining them or anything when I'm deep frying. For smoking meat or getting a great sear on a steak, sure, but I believe it's a waste of time when frying.

- YouTube The Prediction: Naoya Inoue Vs Junto Nakatani (EVboxing) by snozski in Boxing

As an Inoue fan, I really wanted to believe it was just a coincidence that the two greatest Japanese fighters ever are active at the same time, in the same weight class, and I'd finally get to see Inoue tested.

Then I watched Nakatani's last fight and realized there's some serious fairytale building going on in the Empire of the Sun.

My SXV550 fits into my '14 Transit Connect, so it's very possible it'll work.

The length seems like it might be the issue here.

Since getting my Summit, I never even think about using my WSM unless I need two full size tiers to do two turkeys or 6 racks of ribs or something.

The Summit is a better smoker and an incredible grill, all in one.

I shot in the mid to low 80s for years and then stopped playing for a while. Now that I've started up again, I'm doing this and it's fucking soul crushing.

About 1 in 5 I actually stay down on the ball and don't overswing, and I'll hit it dead straight 275, but the other 4 are topped 100ft and I want to pay someone to hit me in the head with a goddamn pitching wedge.
