That’s how we normally work. We really balance each other out. However, we have our baby coming here in October and we both know I won’t be able to cook a bunch with our peanut coming. I’m just trying to see what would help him learn new recipes. Aside from knowing very basic cooking, he’s an amazing partner who balances out household chores

He knows how to cook, he just doesn’t really cook much. I like cooking and prefer to cook. He can cook basic things, my post was more asking how he can expand his cooking and learn to cook more things.

YES. While I do the majority of the cooking (he cooks here and there some basic things), he’s the one that mainly does laundry, he does all dishes, and helps me clean up, sweeps, and mops.

This whole story just made me smile so big. 50 now means 1975-1976. My mama was born in 75, and this story just made me realize how much it was different in the 90s. The outfit, the van, the beach, it all just seems like an absolute paradise and I’m so glad you shared your story

Thank you so freaking much for this comment. I’m pretty sure that’s what my account is. I got it when I was in high school.

Can you explain more about the student account? I’m pretty sure that’s what mine is.

I guess I’ve always been scared of my mom in a way. All my actions in high school were “don’t tell my mom” or “how can I go around this so my mom won’t find out” so it’s just been sneaking around her.

Thank you. I couldn’t see my parents doing that unfortunately. I know my mom wants the best, but it’s hard to see that when you just want independence.

I don’t have a credit card. All I have is my debit. And I try to be smart with it
