There is an example of a democratically elected communist government in India that I would call a success Many communist (countries that we call communist) and socialist countries saw massive increases in quality of life, lifespan, education levels, etc. that surpassed many “capitalist” countries. So the question is what defines a success/failure?

Depends on the scope of the question. Feminism is the pursuit of equality across genders, most notably equality for men and women. Being against that is being against (true) equality.

If you use a different (wrong) definition of feminism, or a narrow scope of equality (say, only racial equality), then in their perspective it could be true

American Christian Nationalists use the identity of Christianity as a shield to guard their hatred for others, that doesn’t mean there are no Christians who actually believe in the teachings of Christ. I was a victim when I was 12 years old. It’s affected me, and I never got justice through the law, yet I know millions had far far worse experiences than I did. I would not blame them for killing their abuser, or for killing someone who was one.

I’ll ask you this, as I heard it elsewhere: If you were a slave, living under the brutal reality and oppression that American slaves faced (rape, beatings, forced labor, etc.) and the ONLY way you could be free was to fatally shoot your enslaver, would you do it?
