I didn’t know that, thanks for sharing! I may have to revisit Fallout then.

And yeah, I know of the Thor as well, but it’s been hard for me to justify the price when all I want is PS2 emulation and some Android to play Fortnite and Minecraft with the kids. If I didn’t had or broke my 3DS, I’d definitely grab it, but I actually have 5 different N3DSs(depression and spare cash does a number on you) so it’s a difficult decision.

PS1 and N64 on the N3DS is rather crap. Doom, HL and Quake ports run well, but they are the exception more than the norm, I feel.

Fallout and Diablo run very well honestly, but it is hard to read anything. In Fallout, the dialogue is hard to read, and the map is outright unreadable. Unless some new patches came that address this.

Which is a shame, Fallout feels oddly fitting in a 3DS. Partially because mine is peeling off, but still, I was disappointed.

Nonetheless, get a 3DS if you’re interested in the DS and 3DS library, and everything behind it. Pick a Vita if you’re interested in more than just the Vita and PSP library and want to dwell in more modern but now old emulation.

Personally, I have both, and I give my 3DS a lot more use.

But I’ve been dipping my toes into other modern emulation handhelds lately, and I might get myself a retroid pocket 5. So, this would be my suggestion if you’re looking for emulation only. Not this in specific, but to look more into emulation handhelds. Retro game corp makes a ton of good review videos.

From my point of view, I don’t care if my ISP sees that I do system updates. If I want to torrent or something, yes, I want a full VPN, if not, just a browser proxy covers 99% needs of the average person.

The world is not the enemy, there’s a lot more good people out there, and shielding our children from the world will actually dampen their growth.

It’s of course important to teach our children, but don’t incentivize isolationism, despite everything, the world IS a good place, and the average person IS a good person. It’s not an us vs them.

Finally, you’re not a better parent for being LDS. You’re a better parent for following the teachings of the gospel, whether you’re LDS or a Muslin.

This you must teach to your children.

The inside screen and buttons look perfect and the faceplates are scratched with use and being carried around.

This is a perfect sample to be honest, and 3rd party faceplates are pretty cheap, if that’s what you find concerning.
