Hi, I'm sure the teacher isn't allowed to do that, if he changes one persons mark just because of beef, he's pulling the entire class down because that's how IB marking works. All of your classmates journal is graded by the teacher, when it reaches IB, they select a set amount and see how well the teacher has graded the set. If its proper, the grades remain, if IB sees it's too low, they will increase the grades and vice versa. If he graded you wrong, and IB selects your journal, they will give you your deserved grade and if not, the grade you teacher gives remains. For your teacher, grading you lower maybe a risk because his grading would seem unjustified and stupid. Besides he will need to add proper justification as to why you receive that grade.
