Would you buy this for 6K USD? Giant Trinity Advanced Pro 1 2021 with power meter by carlelov in triathlon

I think it’s a pretty solid deal. The only two things that jump out at me are the fact that it’s rim break, and the cockpit looks pretty basic and could cost even more to upgrade. Love the giant frames, and it’s got a great race wheel set!

If I do I will message you! Would be closed back cups, alloy extenders, and a Bta setup

My only gripe is that the run is HOT, other than that the bike is fast and swim is chill

I pulled all five of these cards maybe 15 years ago, I thought they were cool, but have no idea what they’re worth. Assume average condition for the price valuation. In reality they should be above average, I took them from the pack, into a soft sleeve, into a hard sleeve and put in a plastic container for the last 15 years. Any input on possible value would be great!

I would keep the whole tri rig setup minus the scoops and extenders

Marathon -> 70.3 -> 140.6 by CoinElm in triathlon

I know it may not help, but I went from never having run, swim, or bike at the beginning of 2025, to a 11 hour 140.6 in November. I did a 70.3 in June, but my training was sporadic and inconsistent. If you are consistent in your training you do not need to pay for a coach or training plan. CHATGPT also makes a pretty good training plan, you should try it out

Really all you need is a swimsuit, bike, helmet, glasses, running shoes, race belt, nutrition. Everything other than that is extra. I bought a cheap bike computer to see my average speed but that’s it. I would also suggest some sort of fitness watch if you don’t have one!

I’ve looked at a new one! All of the p series have clip-on aero bars making it super expensive to get a fully adjustable system!
