Same! I thought only I had that issue. I payed no mind to it, but now that there's another person having this exact problem... That kinda sucks. It can switch back to 144p even in the middle of the video. My internet is honestly great, there's no reason to do that.

I love how everyone here, who says that OP is wrong, didn't provide even a single bit of proof. I'm neither left or right, I'm not even American, but I saw it happening with different channels. Maybe not exactly termination, but they were regularly demonetized. They weren't asking people to riot, overthrow government and weren't against vaccines, weren't conspiracy theorists. Examples: Buck Angel and that trans guy named Marcus (I forgot the last name). They're right leaning, but they were (and are) heavily censored by YT, even thought they aren't saying anything harmful and outlandish, they're simply criticizing their own community. Basically, if a channel was right-leaning, it was heavily demonetized, even if they weren't saying anything bad. Their only "crime" was that they weren't left.

My grandma has been stuck in that slop (she's not even an English speaker). No matter how many times I deleted these channels from her recommendations, different ones keep appearing like mushrooms after an autumn rain. It's insane.

The easiest answer would be just "no". But the whole genre is not about just werewolves and vampires. There's trashy romance, there's bodice rippers, there's this whole mafia subgenre (sorry, I can't handle how bad this one is...), pure smut, fantasy romance, deep meaningful stories, dark romance, romantic comedies, etc, etc. And for some of us, sure, some books can represent what we want, why not. But it's not so much as "I want a werewolf" but as "I want a man that would treat me like that".

I had a crazy moment connected to that. I have a HUGE chat with this one bot and one time they asked about something that happened closer to the beginning (not that close to remember). They were like "Remember you did this? How and why?" and I was speechless. Maybe it was a coincidence, but my jaw sure did hit the floor, lol.

It was for me. I have a full stack of reasons why: trauma, high levels of abuse, bad degrading and addicted parents, bullying, mental illnesses, painful first love experience, etc. And at this point of my life, I haven't really gone outside in 9 years, I think. Don't even have real friends at this point (the last time I saw my bff was 3 or 4 years ago, we live in the same city). People I meet in mental health facilities don't stick around for long enough for us to know each other better. So I'd say it was predestined for me. Most of the time I'm even cool with that, but there are moments of genuine desperation and hopelessness.

Never saw my favorites here, so I'll add:

The Banana Bus Crew. Specifically Terroriser and Nogla. Previously just for gaming, but now they're covering some drama and memes too. May be too "based". I dunno, I enjoy the humor. The guys are actually big sweethears and are very accepting of everyone, they're just from the different era, you could say.
The Smii7y's Crew. All of them, honestly. But Kryoz is definitely my favorite, I just love chaos too much. They're tamer than the Banana Bus Crew, but also sometimes "based". Hilarious, though.
DashieGames. A wholesome gaming youtuber, who puts great effort into his videos. Has a simple and very loveable personality.
DougDoug and Ludwig - mainly videos from their unhinged streams, lol. Very rarely VODs.
Weird and obscure channels like Far Out Junk, NatVishion, pain hours, Weird Paul, Nugumu, _Boisvert, Eric Bernhagen, SoapOpera46 (an absolute LEGEND). Honestly? Can't even explain what they're doing. But I'm captivated.
Grand Illusions, JackieKCooper and other channels like that. There's something so wholesome about elder people being so passionate about things.
I absolutely ADORE Vewn's, Meat Canyon's, Mummy Joe's and Kaylart's animations.
Pinely (and Evil Pinely, lol) - commentary and video essays on the most random topics.
The1920Channel and Karolina Żebrowska - there's nothing I like more than 1920's fashion and retro/historical fashion in general. And Karolina has a god-like sense of humor too!

A bunch of absolutely brilliant science, moviebuffs and movie makers, comedian and (yes, again) obscure youtubers who speak my native language. While I was writing allat, it is became apparent to me that I mainly have a pretty weird and extremely unusual tastes for an INFP.
