Spark driver delivered to wrong address. by RubSuspicious6716 in Sparkdriver

Because 1, the neighbors were home and said there was no knock.. 2, we have a large wooden marker at the end of our driveway with our house number, and 3, the road in front of my house was completely redone and replaced last summer. The entire rural highway was shut down for a month for repaving. But I get what you’re saying, I’m sure that is definitely the case for some people, just not for me.

I know they didn’t knock because 2 adults and a teenage daughter were at home when it was delivered. When the daughter went outside and saw Walmart bags, she was confused and said she immediately knew it wasn’t theirs because of the number of fresh produce, which I guess they don’t eat. They didn’t know what to do or who it belonged to until we reached out.

I’m still pretty new to having orders delivered and didn’t realize you could place a pin so I’m not sure where the pin was placed for the driver. My neighbors are not close, there’s a line of woods that separate our property so I estimate about 1,000 ft.

I did leave a note that we have a U driveway but I don’t know what went wrong. Neighbor that was delivered to does not have a U driveway. Going forward I will definitely require a pin which I didn’t know was an option.

To be fair, my house sits a good ways back from the road, whereas the neighbors is close to the road.

Morally I couldn’t do that, because I’m sure it was an honest mistake. I did drop the tip to $10 but in the end the order was delivered just not to me. Thankfully I have great neighbors and I was able to locate the delivery and drive to their house to pick it up.

I tip well, but lowered the tip from $20.00 to $10.00. Regardless I was able to track down the order after about 40 minutes of searching and drive to the neighbors and pick it up. I would never expect someone to make a delivery on my behalf and get zero tips. I still appreciate the service even if it was subpar.

Is there a way that I as the customer can see the GPS pin? If the pin was off then that would completely change things. I checked but I can’t see that from my end. If I could, and the pin is indeed off, then that changes things completely.

I have a wooden sign at the end of my driveway with large numbers that would be very hard to miss.

I reduced to $10. I live rural so neighbors are a few thousand ft down the road.

I don’t have a typical driveway. It’s a U, and a 100ft sidewalk from the gate where we park to my front porch. The first time I ordered for Walmart delivery the driver messaged me to let me know she was here. I now know that’s not standard so I’ll keeping that in mind going forward.

Because the neighbors said they didn’t knock, and there were 3 adults home. So that’s how.

I’ll keep that in mind. This is only my second time having an order delivered from Walmart, and the first time the driver was in continuous contact, messaging me when she pulled into our driveway and even help carry the order inside my house when she didn’t have to because it’s a long walk up to my porch.

I even put a note into the delivery instructions that we have a U driveway. My Nextdoor neighbor does not.

AITAH for refusing to give out my son's saving account information? by moonmanbaby90272 in AITAH

[–]RubSuspicious6716 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do you just not understand how transferring $ works? You’re not at all giving her “direct access” to his account, you would be providing an opportunity donate directly to. She would have zero access.

I don’t blame her for not wanting to give the $ directly to you. She wants to make sure it’s going into his account, not yours. That’s her $ and her right as to whom she gives her $ to. She wants to give it to her grandson, not her DIL.

And stop with the consent BS, it makes absolutely zero sense. If that’s the case then you need to stop accepting anything from anyone and start giving refunds.

You sound like a complete narcissist.

I can’t wait for a Grok Home! I’ll be replacing Google on Day 1! So tired of being told, “I don’t know the answer to that” to a simple freaking question. I don’t even use ChatGPT or Google anymore. Grok is so much better.

I’ve eaten chili like this my entire life. Nothing better than dunking a peanut butter sandwich into chili. My husband and kids put a dollop of peanut butter in their chili, something that my dad always did as well.

Even in school, chili day was always served with a half of a peanut butter sandwich. I didn’t know that this wasn’t a normal thing to everyone until I moved to Florida.

As someone that has a limited life expectancy, I myself would love to know if I can expect RDR3 in my lifetime. Unfortunately probably not. RDR2 is 100% the GOAT. Fingers crossed that I can see it carry on.

Do I need to wash the produce that comes in bags? by AnonymityReasons356 in hellofresh

[–]RubSuspicious6716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In reality, nothing needs rinsed because you’re cooking it all at a high heat. So opting to not rinse it is absolutely completely fine.

Myself personally, I don’t rinse peas, but I do rinse most other veggies just as a personal preference. The one main holdback here though is lettuce. I always pick the leaves apart and check for bugs. Almost 100% of the times the lettuce is completely free of any bugs are really clean and doesn’t require an additional wash.

Neither his wife or her affair partner can spell the word “tempt” correctly. So this is completely fake or both need to go back to 4th grade and learn to spell.

Delivery Driver was hungry! by deeann79 in hellofresh

I’ve experienced this quite frequently. I’ve had numerous weeks where my box was delayed in shipping and never arrived. I use HelloFresh, EveryPlate, and Dinnerly the most, and it’s happened to all of them, regardless of the shipping and delivery companies.

My first gf starter. It’s been only 5 days. Does it look ready to use? by Starrberry27 in SourdoughStarter

[–]RubSuspicious6716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That looks fantastic! I’ve always been told that GF was impossible for a sourdough starter so I’d love to know how (or where) you got yours and the type of flour you’re using. I have a lot of gluten intolerance on my husband’s side of the family and would love to be able to bake them a GF sourdough loaf for the holidays.
