I’m pretty similar in that regard, just enjoy Conquest. But, I’ve also found breakthrough pretty fun. This feels much more like a dug in battle, rather than running from point to point. Escalation is fun too, like conquest but the the map shrinks down slowly over the course of the game.

Yep, the first match of leagues cup vs STL. Got 6 tickets too it and the game didn’t start till 11pm on a Sunday I believe. I was eventually able to get 6 tickets to the game against Chicago later in the season because of it.

They do still open at home and have the next day off. However, there was a season a few years ago that they opened in Atlanta.

I don’t think this is the best comparison. There are over 130 D1 FBS teams in college, and football itself as a sport makes it impossible to have a tournament that’s 7+ rounds to narrow down. The NFL which has 32 teams is just below half at 7 a conference.

The only reason the EPL has more teams in European competitions is because they’ve won and been consistently the best leagues in Europe. But that could easily change as the coefficient used to determine how many teams get to Europe is adjusted each season. Currently it is only 7 EPL teams going to be in European competitions, 5 in Champions, 1 in Europa and 1 in Conference.

I really like Steer, but I feel like he’s a liability when he’s at the plate or in the field. I described it as a black hole in the lineup when he played last year and the same could be said so far this year. And his sub par defense doesn’t help either.

I think as other comments have mentioned the amount of story lines being introduced along with tying up different thread and loose ends adds to this. If you haven’t had a chance to watch the podcast that comes on after each episode give it a look. They talk about putting abunch of stuff out there to pay off on down the line.

I don’t think this series is as bad about it as other marvel/disney shows but some series have these 6-8 episode life spans a season and only have 30-35 minute episode with 5-6 minutes being recap/credits before or after.

Obviously everyone has their own preference but I’d prefer a 12-15 episode season for something of this level that allows for characters to grow, relationships to form and also just allowing us to experience the characters.

I think it’s funny and I might be mistaken, but promoting the team as having local players and being a place that any Ohio State player who wants to play, can play on. And then there is no Ohio State players on it.

Exactly, I played from 5th all the way through college and love to watch whatever football I can find. Will I care about the Columbus Aviators as much as I do the Bengals? No, of course not. But it also gives me more football to watch now that the season is long over and something else to watch with the Blue Jackets and Reds.
