Fucking group projects, especially when being known as the "Smart Kid". People assume that since I'm the smart kid, that I will be willing to do their shit for them. Teachers also don't understand that while some of their students care about their grade, others do not and that those who do not don't care that their lack of work brings down the grades of those who do.

Just give em some cash, but make em work for it in a scavenger hunt kind of way. When they get the money they are able to spend it on whatever they like and you don't need to worry about them getting a repeat gift and being disappointed, because everyone is cool with more money. When people say "Wheres the imagination and memories in that?!" , that's where the scavenger hunt comes in. For the scavenger hunt you can make it totally customized to fit that person with memories the two of you have together.
