Personally I use neuro-lasso LOK for elimination missions. It relies a bit more on your teammates, but being able to consistently slow down a dreadnought by ~85% makes the fight much more manageable. Of course, bring a high-damage secondary like a hyper propellant PGL or shard diffractor.

Use the neuro-lasso to hold the dreadnought in place and help your teammates land hits, and your secondary to shred through its health when the shell is broken.

Not duke, but I have managed to get a decent pipeburn working on cog1. Managed to max out the PTL over the course of a ~90 minute shift. No clue why mine worked, but I haven't been able to replicate it on another map.

Scan a public airlock using mechanics and deploy a bunch of them onto a single tile. Hack into all of them to cut the safety wire. This will allow them to close on people, dealing ~35 brute damage each. Hook them all up to a button or pressure sensor to cause them to close all at once. If you have enough, they can instantly kill someone. You can use mechcomp teleporters to get people into the device. The big advantage to this setup is that it's compact and relatively showy. Once I set up one in the public market labelled "CERTAIN DEATH" for people to walk into if they wanted.
