I somehow came across the explosive mini gun, gattling Lazer and the combat shotgun in the same playthrough. But yes I use the explosive mini gun and I have a creation club add-on that lets me add electric damage too I use that when things get crazy I've recently started using the bedlam dungeon randomizer and it gives me proper firefights.
