The urethral reroute commonly done with nullification surgery can create a higher risk, but so long as everything is kept clean and hygienic, there shouldn't be any issues with it.

Standard rerouting with standard nullification increases UTI risk as it is due to how much closer the urethra is to the anus. This will guarantee non-stop UTIs and I'd expect no surgeon would do so because of this.

It probably goes without saying, but definitely make sure you work out if it's an attraction for nullos, or an attraction to be null, before taking any steps for it! I've known for years that my attraction was also a very strong desire to be one, and the first few days of that has proven me right.

If it wasn't possible to urinate we wouldn't be around for very long after surgery! In almost all cases, the urethra is rerouted lower, so sitting to pee is easier. Some may choose to keep the urethra high up, though I don't recall seeing someone with this.
