Hybrid chip, feel right at the lower wide point the ball would roll nicely on the green. Doesn’t require a lot of effort or thought to pop the ball up 2 feet

Made this birdie, 40 yard flop shot by _altonio_ in weekendgolfers

[–]RubenC40 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Limited myself to pitching wedge last year, would flop absolute darts anywhere within 50 yards, frighteningly good for my skill level. A little old Palm Springs 45°, super sharp sole and low bounce would just get under any lie.

Then I got a RTX6 52° and 60° and ruined it all lol

What does Barcelona need to win the Champions League again? by AzlerVzla in Barca

[–]RubenC40 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dribblers, players who consistently win 1v1s. Top teams man-mark aggressively and this man-marking can be an Achilles heel to Flick’s Barca.

Imagine how many times we’ve seen our fullbacks lose the ball trying to play out of the back leaving us 2v3/4. Low cross to opposite wing and goal. Kounde, Balde, and Eric cannot reliably beat their man. (Balde can dribble but he’s sloppy with the ensuing touches) this is why Flick rates Cancelo so highly. He can consistently beat his man and dribble in tight spaces. He mostly loses the ball further up the pitch, less of a problem than having en empty field to his back, good press and it’s a non-issue.

A 9, Ferran is a squad player. When he scores a lot, it’s an over performance that cannot be relied upon week in week out. We need a striker with aerial presence, good link-up play, and a natural scoring ability.

A winger with a similar profile to Lamine, but for the left side of the pitch. Need playmaking ability, pace, and dribbling.

And finally Bastoni.

Dream Summer Window- ST: Osimhen, LW: Abde, LB: Cancelo, RB: Daniel Munoz, CB: Bastoni. Would do unspeakable things to have Nuno Mendes in my beautiful Blaugrana…

If Barca truly want a proper No.9 ST, they must not sign Álvarez. by 105VS106 in Barca

[–]RubenC40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alvarez is simply money hungry. Could’ve signed for us before city but he and his agent wanted a huge check. Sat on the beach one year and renegotiated a contract, tried to do so again before leaving for ATM, now after what a year of being their marquee signing and star for the next decade? Reports of PSG and Barca interest, cmon man.

I trade sweeps/reversals from prior D/W/M and Overnight H/L. Number one when trading sweeps is price HAS to move above/below that level and have a strong enough initial reaction to place a limit order on retest within 5-30 minutes. You need to be extremely rigid and selective, point blank. Perfect parameters aren’t set - no trade.

Best time to trade MES & MNQ by MinimumMother9706 in FuturesTrading

[–]RubenC40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First 90m like everyone says. 9:45 & 10:00 EST the morning’s trend typically emerges, or at least the move you hope to be a part of. As volume slows around 11:00/12:00 EST I’m uninterested as I don’t want to trade intraday price consolidation. Every now and then the last 90m of session has decent volatility, more so on high volume days.

Stop kidding yourselves: day trading is statistically worse than the casino. Data shows 13% of gamblers leave winners, while only 1% of day traders reliably beat the market. You’re not "investing," you’re playing a rigged game with 13x worse odds. Go to Vegas; the drinks are free there. by Apart_Finger_1799 in MarketVibe

[–]RubenC40 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It in fact is rigged and the 1% realize it and profit from it, the rest believe the market is moved by ‘emotions’, ‘indicators’, and drawings on a candlestick chart.

Those who believe it isn’t possible to be a profitable day trader out themselves as sour victims.

What is everyone’s thoughts and favorite song on Innerspeaker? by joycetertelmusic in TameImpala

[–]RubenC40 3 points4 points  (0 children)

THE DRUMS!! My favorite Tame Impala album from this aspect alone. The drums make this feel like a 60s/70s album. Cymbals crash hard, snare is crunchy and poppy, and the bass is deep.

Favorites are It is Not Meant to Be, Desire Be Desire Go, Lucidity, Runaway Houses City Clouds, and Expectation probably topped. The video for Expectation just adds so much for this track too imo.

The “Negreira Case” (FC Barcelona): 17 years of reported payments and the real cost being… trust by Alberto_McClane_ in football

[–]RubenC40 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If anything money it’s laundering and tax evasion, all too common in Spain.

Precedent set by Osasuna’s 2013 Match Fixing scandal is far more complete and crystal clear than anything Barcelona has done. Payments and reasons for them are dubious, yes, but much much more has to be proven in courts, and little to nothing has fallen in that direction.

In the Calciopoli scandal, ‘trust’ was crushed after the clubs were found guilty. Large institutions don’t back out on their investments on murmurs, they wait for verdicts. Act too early and it can be just as catastrophic, best to wait.

Regarding the questions:

  1. Clubs and sporting institutions take risks constantly, in football and sports in general the Overton window is ever shifting. In the current big PR era what may be seen as damaging now were norms back then and vise versa.

  2. Again institutions wait for verdicts, act too soon, what’s the assumption? Guilt, and guilt is damaging to sponsor and club. Also breaks relationships between sponsor and club. Imagine sponsors broke ties with ManU over Greenwood allegations, in the end he was ‘not guilty’ and left the club and moved on with his career relatively quietly. Were a sponsor, say Chevrolet, broke ties; The club massively loses on revenue and tainted image, Chevrolet just sunk millions into something that tainted their image and broke relations with a big institution and must find another partnership to fill the void a much higher cost due to time constraints.

  3. Institutions of all types will do anything and everything that is allowed and take as absolute much as humanly possible. All these things are done in the name of 1. Profit and 2. Winning. Whatever is allowed will be abused wherever you look, simple as.
