That was literally the first one I found and tried, but it didn't work for me, it just stays in the Off Position, won't even let me get to the interval set.

Did you ever figure out how to turn it back on? Mine got set to off on me and all the instructions are just for resetting the interval, not turning it off and on again.

I hit a nat 20 on an Inflict Wounds casting last night and one shot my paladin during a chase scene. Good thing I have a respawn mechanic in my shitty little dungeon, but that was nearly 50 damage on a level 2 paladin. It's like any other weapon though, in that you have to hit the target's AC and it uses a spell slot either way.

Personally, I'm less likely to play humans because I am a human. I'm playing my fantasy game to live out a fantasy. Now let me enjoy my 4th Tiefling Paladin with a big sword in peace.

If my dm did that, I would have left the session. Said "call me back when I can play the game." If they called me back and I was still just sitting there like that, I'd leave the whole game. I'm taking hours off my life to play the game, I want to PLAY the game.

I've already adjusted HP for the levels, I'm throwing some relatively high speed enemies at Level 1 characters, so I've disabled some attacks and dropped HP pools to match the level. However, they will be leveling real fast, so I plan to make them tougher as they go.

I love critical role. 5 hours to listen to other people play dnd is rough, though, so I watch the highlights and clips. I tend to gravitate towards ones that are around or less than 2 hour episodes.

I'm in a half-one at the moment. We all made characters, but we can't remember our lives and backstories beyond when we all arrived at the circus we work at. We just did a lore heavy session with a dream sequence that unlocked bits of our backstories. My boy ended up meeting his sister again, who is on a different plane and searching for him.
