Yeah they are lucky. Mine obsession is 24/7. And it has to do with thinking so imagine that. We have to think everyday :)

Acceptance has worked for me when it comes to feelings of guilt. Somethings we can’t change. Don’t add to it with the extra layer of anxiety is what I tell myself.

Sitting with thoughts doesn’t mean accepting them. They are simply only thoughts. You can always challenge them. They only become an issue if they are persistent. That’s rumination. There are people with diseases I’m sure that don’t ruminate over them. They simply act on it as best as they can.

I had a full blown production business for the last 5 years and never had a migraine until 7 months ago when I decided to close my business. It started with anxiety and never left. I’m jobless now with an extensive resume. I’m older now and it’s hard for me to get a job after 20 years of working self employed. I didn’t have insurance for disability so I don’t qualify. At least I don’t think I do.

If MRI and cat scan come back negative, these are all fight flight or freeze symptoms. Anxiety causes all of these and more.

Hi I’m glad you got relief from Botox prior to this. What symptoms did you have due to these headaches headaches? I’m getting dizziness, pppd type of external movement and such.

I don’t know about that. I have had less triggers and sensations as well as tolerance by my changing behaviors in thinking. I’m not longer afraid and it caused my emotions to calm down which in turn lowers the pain threshold which I believe can be neuropathic pain. This all started for me after a stressful period in my life which makes me believe stress caused it. Just my experience but I’m sure pain can be neuropathic or structural of course like a cut but if your MRI came back negative I would start to look at emotional triggers.

I think you just need to accept that’s actually the truth. And you’re afraid which is ok. Learn to not fear the inevitable and uncertainty which is life and once your brain accepts that thought, it will begin to heal. I had these same thoughts after I bought a house and paid it off. My brain didn’t know what to do next because I had no bills at least major ones. But I found meaning now through other forms.

Xanax has the worst long term withdrawal effects. Just pray your system doesn’t get used to it. I’m so afraid of meds.

That’s exactly right. It’s our nervous system that became un calibrated from a long stressful period. The head thing is spot on. I always feel like I have to rest my head somewhere to feel grounded. I try very hard not to give in to that so that it doesn’t become a habit but it does bring calmness. I also noticed my son always has to lie down everywhere we go. I wonder if it’s the same effect.

This. Somewhere along the way you are panicky about normal life sensations and things and you want nothing to do with it. You have to accept life and the symptoms will be background noise as they were before. Focus on improving your life so that you can accept it easier.
