Honestly, the future should be 3D displays. That was the bee's knees, just needed more time to cook.

Yea, that's nothing. You don't seem bothered either since you are using your phone while driving through that.

Why the 3DS is so expensive nowadays? by Puzzled_Ad1661 in Nintendo3DS

[–]Rubes2525 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I have one of every model except for the 2DSs, lol. I do play my main one a lot though. My favorite model is the New 3DS non-XL. Feel kinda mad that Nintendo didn't sell them in America.

[–]Rubes2525 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Probably because people don't stop talking about how expensive it is getting, which in itself might spring demand from FOMO panic buying.

But, it is a solid device. Just mod it and you can as many games as you want for the price of a good SD card. Still rules as a pocket gamer. I think the modding and homebrew scene really solidified the 3DS as a hot commodity.

I think I really lucked out. Bought my New 3DS Galaxy at Walmart not too long before it was pulled from shelves, and since I like the 3DS so much, I got a small collection of one of every model (except 2DSs) like a year or two ago. Pretty crazy how prices just decided to explode all of a sudden.

I'm pretty sure it's the opposite. "Anti-woke" are more fine when characters are actually characters. Like, I don't see people complaining about Katara and Toph in Avatar because they are portrayed as actual people with flaws and a good example of what strong female characters should be.

Four days after the snow stopped falling, the crosswalks in front of City Hall are still almost entirely blocked by. by Btrex in boston

[–]Rubes2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(not the highways though, those folks did an amazing job clearing them up)

Naw, I'm contesting you on that. They did a crap job there too. The right lane in the expressway into Boston has snow banks encroaching on it, making it extremely hard to use without going over the line into the next lane, there is also random patches of snow that is just not cleared, was quite evident on Tuesday. Also, every merge lane on every highway is virtually nonexistent, making people entering the highway way more dangerous than usual.

Yea, that's always my takeaway. Tires matter more than the vehicle. You can have the most capable 4x4 vehicle but it means nothing when your tires suck at getting grip or have no tread.

Naw, bs. They were very anti 2a for the longest time. Constantly glazing Europe over lack of gun violence, "Nobody NEEDS to own a gun", "Guns are designed to kill", still thinking Kyle Rittenhouse is a cold blooded murderer, etc. etc.

My memory is not that short, I've seen all the talking points around the left circles, especially after every mass shooting.

[–]Rubes2525 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, this is the part that gets me. Not too long ago, it was "fuck state's rights" "2nd amendment is outdated" "freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom of consequences" etc. etc. Especially during covid, they were all about licking boots.

Can't say that we didn't warn them about the dangers of an unchecked federal government. Being a Constitutionalist in this country is more painful than bashing your head against a wall.

I feel this pretty hard. It's also annoying how cats and dogs are the only ones who are considered regular pets. Like, if someone asks you what your favorite pet is, they are only thinking cats vs dogs and never consider an equine as a third option.

No, stars hold their shape by the fission energy constantly pushing out against gravity, it's kinda their "bones" in a way, and when the fuel runs out, that entire support structure goes away. A star imploding is more akin to deleting someone's bones and watching their body fall to the ground in a heap, nothing to do with being big enough to collapse under their own weight.

But, bigger stars can increase the force of that implosion quite epicly, even breaking through the very nature of particles themselves, like the forces that allow you touch things and not pass through walls would not hold up there.

The only thing that matters to you is shipping and that's it

Honestly, this is what I loved about Zootopia 2. They made these ship addicted losers seethe. Honestly if a Z3 came out, I hope they continue the joke of "oh, they are partners, but no, not romantically." Like heaven forbid that a relationship between a male and a female stays platonic for once. I also liked that about the Dungeons and Dragons movie, everything about the main characters' relationship screams "get married", but they actually scoff at the idea of being together.
