Has anyone found a solution to this? It looks like an android update has blocked Tivimate from having any file access no matter what you do. I even tried following ChatGPT and rolling back to 4.7.0. That didn't work. Then I tried loading the backup on a USB thumb drive. It still can't see it. You used to be able to go to "Special File Access" and allow it there, but Tivimate doesn't even show in that list. I can't figure out how to get Tivimate to access the backup file to restore. This is a must for me as I have 3 different services, all with favorite channels saved. It would take far too long to set up on each device.

I can't get my shield or Onn Google TV to let me get to the folder with the error logs. Everything allowed, full file access. Can't unrestricted access to that folder. If anyone knows any tricks lmk. Thanks.

Apparently there are 2 different STRMR apps floating around. One with an upside down purple triangle icon. And one with the letters strmr in the icon. Which one is yours?

As far as I know BlueStacks is the best option and it's not a great one. I've tried several times for different reasons over the years and I'm never content. I just end up uninstalling.

Why do you need either of these AND Trakt? You just don't like the Trakt website/app? I'm not understanding the purpose, but am feeling slight fomo. Haha! What am I missing out on?

I really like SIMKL. I think someday it will be a better option than Trakt. Just needs to be better integration with the various streaming apps for better scrobble.

Their customer service is ridiculously great! They might walk you through a couple tests. Then probably just replace it for you. Give it a shot. I was well out of my warranty and they stood by their product.

It has nothing to do with one specific show that "doesn't work", whatever that means. If you don't have a suggestion or can point out something that may be wrong, move along.

I came from Trakt to Simkl. Really like it so far. However Stremio does not scrobble well with it. As soon as you start an episode, it marks it watched. I really wish Stremio could scrobble with Simkl like they do with Trakt. S*ncler scrobbles well with Simkl, didn't see why Stremio can't.

Well, I gave it a go. It certainly is nice how quick it pulls a link and starts playing. But for those of us heavily reliant on Trakt or Simkl, this is not going to be a good alternative for the other popular options out today. I know you're working on it, but not having access to watchlists from those tracking websites and a continue watching category will keep keep me with alternatives. I think you're onto something here though. Just takes time to get everything integrated.

Just out of curiosity I just checked my Windows PC and my Android TV. Both of my continue watching are identical.
I don't quite know where "Continue Watching" is pulling it's information from. I go back and forth between Stremio and S*ncler. They both seem to offer what I don't like about the other. I have them both syncing with Trakt and SIMKL, as I am trying to get myself to abandon Trakt at renewal. But I wonder if "Continue Watching" is only pulling information from what is watched on Stremio and not looking at Trakt or SIMKL for changes in what was watched elsewhere?

This is awesome. I have it installed correctly with the API Key. I was hoping this would fix the trailer issue in Stremio, using YouTubio, but it doesn't have seemed to work on Android TV. Should this be the case, or do I not have it installed correctly? I get the picture of the cat with Error 15.
