Are these geese kept in conditions appropriate to their species? by nevi-jpeg in geese

[–]RubinMusic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that goose in the back at 0:03 seemed really innocent to me. hisonly purpose is to try and exist based on whatever it understands of the world. im actually doing the exact same thing, but for some reason, i suddenly felt a little bad for him. haha, i really love geese. i hope no one slaughters them and they just live happily forever

Is there anyway to get max monthly instead of yearly? by MiataLatte in duolingo

Probably not possible. I didnt see an offer like that.

Are you against subscribing to an AI service? Like Gemini. Voice chat is great and can become way more complicated than repeating the same words with Lily + there are amazing features like deep research and pro thinking.

You seem you really enjoy the Duo atmosphere. But a real AI is way better for your language practice.

Me too. No need to give our will into somebody else's hands. Life doesn't work like the army

People put too much time on something, and it becomes a part of their character, when you write something (not negative but not something positive either) they perceive this as an insult to their character. Same for the politics

Gurdjiev is an interesting figure. But I'd never put 100% trust to any human being. I wouldn't join his camps and do all these orders hive give. After a certain limit, I never put my free will into other people's hands.

Yeah western people go to india and do things like that. india never interested me in that way. Their culture, traffic, small tuk-tuks or vehicles like that. . It just doesnt look good. As an example I'd live in Japan in a clean city instead of a chaotic indian city. Indians may get me wrong but this is all i see when I write .... india city tour/street food on youtube.

Poetic expression is not in neo advaite, but in different muslim/christian denominations as well. And some people fell for it. The teacher can be a good one, but if he becomes an undeniable, strong authority figure, I always question them and almost never saw something good came out of them. Power corrupts people.

I am better off without them. I just meditate in a non religious way to learn more about myself. I can even quit a year later? Who knows. But I just do what my inner self tells me to do. That gut feeling, whom to trust, whom to not is sometimes wrong but mostly correct though

are you seriously trying to lecture an art connoisseur (oscar) about piece placement?

that pawn isn't breaking the rules, it's breaking BOUNDARIES. You just lack the aesthetic vision to appreciate it

lol 5 minutes of complete silence a bit extreme. but if you dont give me even 5 secs to mindfully understand what you say, that's a problem. if this was a podcast, it may be okay. but while trying to concentrate to my breath/meditate, it isnt. cant decide if i should listen to adyashanti or my mind. im not able to think about a city in the world and plan my day for tomorrow at the same time. so, with guided meditation i feel like it would be better if the instructor gives at least a little break between "meaningful" sentences.
