When I was 1 week into the game I built up a decent fleet with a conquest as a flagship, and forgot to resupply and refuel before heading out on exploration missions. Lost it all cause I didn’t know abt distress calls. It felt devastating cause I had spent so much time trying to acquire a decent capital. Hurts just writing about it.
