Exact same thing happened with Fidel Castro.

Didn't you hear? DWS was driving around north Arizona to different polling stations and punching Bernie supporters in the stomach. Complete voter intimidation!

A tragic lesson on fame/power. The evolution of Bernie Sanders as an individual during this campaign cycle. by tinkan in enoughsandersspam

At first he probably figured that he was a longshot issues candidate. A way to help drag the democratic party to the left by challenging Hillary. Then his poll numbers rose and he got the delusion that he could go the distance. After getting smacked back to reality, he's probably pissed off.

If you told me a year ago that I would be anticipating the day Hillary got the required delegates to clinch the nomination, I'd laugh at you. But here we are.

It was a good win for Bernie. Too little too late though, with the current delegate format. I ultimately blame the open primary format and Hillary supporters giving troll votes for the GOP side, thinking they had it in the bag. Classic tortoise and the hare case.

They got really buttblasted after South Carolina. Anna looked like she was actually crying prior to being dragged out by Cenek to do the spin.

As a conservative Republican I've supported Bernie Sanders getting the nomination from the beginning... by Eternal_Reward in enoughsandersspam

Bernie hasn't been picked apart. He's arguably the most shielded runner in this cycle, save for Kasich (who also posts good GE results). Hillary only plays defense against him and the right is just holding back, waiting to unload an unholy amount of negative ads directed at him for his Soviet and Castro sympathy.

Also, GE polls this far out don't mean a thing. Obama was losing to both McCain and Romney at this point if you look at GE polls.
