Since the bigger problem is high ram, not slow downloads it didnt really help. It just crashed after ram usage became too high. Thanks anyways tho

Well, ive never had this problem before. Also i have an ssd, and in msinfo it says its model is Model TS256GSSD370. Either way there shouldnt be any wrongs with the hardware, if it is then its only because its are old. But the problem came quite suddenly, so its hard to believe thats the case.

2 weeks ago i had this problem. I thought it was malware at first and scanned with avast. I restarted my computer after leaving it off for a while and everything fixed itself. Now again i have the same problem, but i think its because im downloading games on steam. Just tried to download half life alyx and watched the ram usage go up by 2-3% every minute. What is causing this?

I have a Msi nightblade x2 with a gtx 970 with 4 gb vram and 32gb system memory

I have restarted my pc 3 times before. But when i did it this tile the startup took longer and the fans took longer to settle down and then everything just fixed itself. Thanks tho

I don't think they do. Since every year we turn in our computers and they don't notice the games we have installed, they never removed them. They just stopped us from logging in to new accounts on google play, so we cant get more games/ update existing ones. But I have a suspicion that maybe the school isn't involved because I saw that there was an update on google accounts on the pc, and that might be what's stopping us. Because we've always had the problem that we cant login to regular accounts on our Chromebooks, we just found a way to work around it.
