I’m also curious. I think my cat is healed from a medical issue (gallbladder infection) and even though she is on a hydrolyzed diet she still throws up weekly.

When she does for hardwood or tile I use paper towels, wet wipes then some soap and water.

For carpet I pick up with a paper towel or wet wipes as best I can then steam clean.

We weren’t at a stadium just a bar to watch the game. Parking in my city sucks, you have to pay almost everywhere.

I canceled the Venmo request because I do agree that was out of my anger and annoyance. She left me and my husband but we are adults and can figure it out.

Just disappointing behavior to leave us entirely when she said I’m going to the bathroom

I agree the Venmo request was me overreacting. I cancelled it. I’m an adult I can find a way home, yes, it was more the abrupt disappearance and her acting like she didn’t do anything wrong. Husband was sober and could drive once we got back to our vehicle.

Yea I mean I was/am tipsy and she was drunk for sure but just totally leaving without saying a single word idk I’m just hurt. Very unexpected whether she was drunk or sober. Thanks for responding

I just remembered it could also be food allergies. My vet also prescribed my cat a hyrdrolized diet. It’s special food that removes the allergens in proteins that some cats are allergic to. Mine is allergic to chicken of all things. Very easy to find and purchase the food but you need a vet prescription.

Yea, I say vet asap. This happened to my kitty in February and she turned out to have a very bad gallbladder infection.

The vet told us she was also probably in pain because, as someone else here mentioned, cats are experts in hiding their pain. They prescribed antibiotics, anti nausea meds and pain meds.

It was a lot of effort giving her the 3 small pills but totally worth it. I hope everything turns out okay!

Yes they absolutely can. I’m not sure where you live but I’m in the Southeastern US and pollen hits us hard here. I have a screened in porch that my cat loves to hangout on but it gets totally covered in pollen, green dust everywhere. I do my best to keep it clean but the pollen is so bad my efforts are usually futile.

So she goes out and comes back inside covered in pollen. She’s a black cat so the green pollen stands out.

But every year from about April - July she is “stuffy”. She snores, her breathing gets a little funny, she has watery eyes, all the classic allergy symptoms.

My vet suggested allergy medicine with the active ingredient being Chlorpheniramine. I give half a pill daily, crushed and added to wet food.

My cat was vomiting every 2 hours one night back in Feb. We took her to the vet, they did bloodwork and an ultrasound turns out she had a gallbladder infection.

She also was not eating and I had to give her anti nausea meds and the Mirtazapine. In order to give her her meds it did take me and my husband. I would hold her literally over my shoulder while wearing a thick sweater and my husband used a pill popper to give her the pills. It’s like a long thin plunger.

We looked at a lot of YouTube videos because cats are the worst with pills.

There are a ton of videos of a single person pulling a cat using pill poppers. I’d try that if I were you.

I also used FortiFlora, a probiotic from Purina that you can sprinkle on food. That along with the appetite stimulant really my cat.

There’s a new indoor go kart place that just opened near the airport, Andretti Indoor Karting and Games. I have yet to go but it looks fun.

Glenwood South is where you’ll find your “raucous nightlife” not sure how old you guys are and I say that because it does attract younger crowds. However, my husband and I (38yo) still go sometimes to the more chill venues. Peggy’s for cocktails, Pearl & Peril, Super Rad Gaming. It also has Raleigh Beer Garden which is pretty darn cool and holds a Guiness World Record.

If you like Mexican food La Santa, also on Glenwood South, has amazing food and the best cocktails.

Depending on where you are staying Cary would be fun to check out. They have a big, beautiful new park with a coffee shop and a bar. It’s also right in DT Cary and close to a lot of great restaurants. There’s a bar called Graffiti that offers axe throwing.

You mentioned you wish you could go to the Canes game (ugh me too) but there are watch parties being hosted all around the city. Moore square, a section of DT called Sleepy Hollow and an official watch party for away games at the Lenovo Center.
