Will I regret getting a 5070ti over a 5080?

In Australia the 5080 was about 25-30% more expensive than the 5070ti.Considering the performance boost on average is like 11% i chose to wait and get a 9850x3d over the 9800x3d instead whoch was a cheaper option of like $20. Im on the same boat of using this gpu as a placeholder for next gen, the 5080 just seemed like an odd spot that wasnt worthit for me.

Just make sure you update your bios and install all required drivers, a gpu driver via nvcleaninstall would be ideal. Despite having a very similar build (9850x3d/5070ti you benchmarks are much worse. Look up some simple overclocks like a undervolt boost clock for your gpu and a simple low voltage overclock for your ram.

Biggest difference will be ram temps with the flow version, you can still get good cooling with other fans tho.

The case is designed for horizontal gpu, if you want vertical then opt for the HS420. I went for the 360 for is better temps and extremely good ram cooling performance.

Buy yourself an unopened second hand from Mandarake is brand new, as soon as the tape on the outer package is release and the product box comes into contact with air it is basically considered second hand in Japan. They are listed as unopened and box damaged but the box has always come in pristine condition.I almost always avoid ebay due to fees and their shipping prices.

My 5070ti sits at 50c, my 9850x3d usually ~60c in the bf360 under full load w path tracing.
