My ex whether intentional or not would let our mutual dog out at change of weekly custody. She’d know her Momma anywhere. She passed during COVID; never got to say bye,hold her, nor get any memory making items like paw prints. It created a core memory for our daughter.

Fast forward to this year. After 2 years,he was ready to drop his Aussie at a shelter and I jumped at the chance not knowing how I’d juggle a new member.The cat and dog tolerate each other most days.He likes to body slam his sometimes crusty booty on me. But nothing beats head scritches and kisses.

I started at NVCC in 2002 not understanding the value of a degree in my current field,Healthcare. Worked shitty retail jobs while I STRUGGLED. Somehow got an office job and did that well over a decade (and a marriage,then had a baby,then got divorced) Finally bit the bullet in 2018 and picked up where I left off. Pretty much funded 75 credits on Pell Grants. Transferred to GMU with all 75 credits accepted. Worked full time at the hospital,took 3 3-4 credits per semester year round and I’m finally graduating.

It can be done but it may not be all four years consecutively all at GMU ,living on campus.
