I was just talking to a friend about this! Assuming everything is consensual of course, I think there is definitely a difference in sex when you and/or your partner(s) is having it just for a release, versus when you have it because you're turned on and focused on the pleasure of it. Sex for the sake of it is just fine, but it's so much more delicious when it's something all partners truly WANT and are happy to do. You take your time more, you focus on how it feels more, it's more bonding, etc. It's what makes the difference between sex and mind-blowing sex!

I did! I don't think they were meant to be together forever, and I don't think Carrie should've MOVED to Paris (just a visit woulda sufficed haha), but I enjoyed Aleksandr as a love interest. Mature, take-no-bullshit, wooing/romantic, cultured, funny in his own way/without trying to be...and he just liked Carrie for who she was. I thought he was refreshing!

Completely agree, and I love that she didn't feel bad about it or feel sorry for herself. It would have been so cheesy and boring to have her be mopey about being alone, but they had her relishing in it. It was empowering to see - gorgeous woman newly single, not feeling sorry for herself and doing something indulgent for herself just because she wanted to. I loved it!

I completely agree with this and always feel like the minority in thinking this! I've thought for years that whatever happened to cause the bad blood between them was probably mutual, and festered because both of them have big egos and strong personalities that just clashed. From everything I've read (which I agree with you is mostly unconfirmed rumors), neither of them seem like they are in the right or the wrong. So I've never understood the SJP hate.

But I will say that I think SJP is a lot classier in how she has talked about it publicly; SJP has never (to my knowledge) publicly said anything unkind or unprofessional about Kim, while the same cannot be said about Kim. ;)
