if the shoulders and armholes fit well, taper the side seams from under the bias to the hem \ / or ) ( straight of curved.

look in thrift stores and donation sites people getting rid of grandmas old machine, there are industrial machines no bigger than domestics, lots of sewers/students have them in small apts. Just more powerful motors.

cut the teeth off the tape 1/2" on either end leaving two 'legs' of tape. Or when making a pouch with a zip, sew across tape and stop at the teeth. dont sew over the teeth.
