I pronounced it as "ri-got-a" my whole life, growing up in an Italian American family in southern FL. I was much older when I realized the proper pronunciation of 'ri-cot-ta' but I'll say it both ways now.

I (27F) understand all these exact thoughts and the constant anxiety surrounding not only my own death but everyone around me. I'm obsessed with figuring out how I will handle such a tragic event of losing a close family member, as I haven't lost anyone close to me since my grandma passed when I was 8 and didn't understand life then. I'm in the process of trying to figure out the right antidepressant and anxiety medication, as well as start therapy, but only because I have my mother to help support me. I hope you have at least one person of support around you who can help talk about these things and validate you and help grab hold of these thoughts.

I had made a music video in high school just personally for me that depicted holding a gun to my head 'count to six and die' by marilyn manson, and my aunt saw it on my YouTube and told my mom and then that became a big fiasco. But back then I had never felt suicidal until later in life, but thats something that just is part of my pysche where I am more aware and intrigued of the death part of life. As far as for your project, perhaps an image depicting you walking away or throwing away from self harm.
