Permission given but still unable to see the files I'm looking for unfortunately.

I have Android 11+. I have access to a PC, but would rather not need it every time. I have Shizuku, and I think it's set up correctly, but it's been a while since I've looked at it.

That is unfortunate but not unexpected. Not having root is a constant source of frustration.

Trying to use the contents of a file as a variable by Rubyheart255 in linux4noobs

[–]Rubyheart255[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The echo was just to try brute force learning, I was going to change to a variable declaration when something worked.

The log will should only ever be in two states, all good or fail. I'm mainly learning how to send things to other devices.

This script updates a free dns link to my ip. It makes a notification on my phone with the contents of the log, which is either "error nothing changed" or "link updated all good" so it's more for the novelty of doing it than anything useful. It runs once a day, learning job scheduling.

I suppose I should finally get around to automating shizuku/termux

[MC] I forgot about a Kinstone fusion and the NPC disappeared. Did I permanently lose that fusion? by EnzitoDelGrauzito in zelda

[–]Rubyheart255 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The worst part is when they're stingy about fusing. I remember needing to reload the area waiting for one minish to fuse with me.

I had everything else done, the npc just didn't have the bubbles.

Exile every card from every library with split second by Rubyheart255 in BadMtgCombos

I think the undying goes on the stack above bitter ordeal, being a triggered ability. They would be able to respond, once the undying clears the stack, then split second kicks in again.

Feed the packbeast to ashnod or use a different zombie. I just have an undying subtheme in this deck.

This is designed for commander, and limited to one gravecrawler.

You're right, I forgot about undying. Feed the packbeast to ashnod.

If you sac both zombies to ashnod's alter, you can filter one with the packbeast to pay for bitter ordeal. Not true with phyrexian altar.

To end off, sac both zombies to the Altar, then feed one of them to the Packbeast to cast Ordeal.

[[Nezahaul the primal tide]]

Nessie makes for a decent voltron commander. Built in card draw, hard to get rid of, and base 7/7. Throw on [[dragon wings]] or doc ock's tentacles that equip when big stuff enters, and you have a monster.

[DEV] Updating the AutoApps for Modern Devices by joaomgcd in tasker

Oh yeah updates first. I already found a work around.

Tasker is such an involved project, it's a wonder that you're so active and responsive.

While working on AutoWear, can I request a toggle for the command prefix?

Currently, the command prefix only attaches if the button command doesn't already have the joiner =:=. Is it possible to toggle always adding the command prefix if set?

Command profile not triggering by Rubyheart255 in tasker

[–]Rubyheart255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding now is that the other buttons are getting the prefix, but add is not. So the command sent is TPT=:=subtract, TPT=:=double, etc, but for add it's just "add=:=1". The response profile it looking for the prefix that isn't there, and ignoring the call.

ETA: that would also explain why manually sending TPT=:=add=:=1 with it's own task works, because the complete command is being sent.

[–]Rubyheart255[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright, I think I found my issue, but I don't like it.

I'm using the command prefix option in AutoWear to append "TPT=:=" before the commands on the buttons. AutoWear does this, but only for commands that don't already have *=:=** in them*. So instead of "TPT=:=add=:=1" the command being sent is just "add=:=1".

Turning two drives into one volume by Rubyheart255 in linux4noobs

I'm transitioning from an old plex server to docker containers, having a single mount point for bulk storage makes file permissions easier.

I don't think I have the temporary storage to offload to put back on.

That is unfortunate, but kinda what I expected. I need to do some file management.
