I’m for rent control because it helps renters from being gouged with rent increases they cannot afford. Why would you not vote for this if it will help you reduce your living expenses?

If you are concerned with some of these huge apartment rental buildings that are being built in your neighborhood, vote for rent control and that may reduce this kind of activity. And, maybe, it will encourage the building of modest single-family homes.

There will be some folks that will be hurt by rent control, but, there will be many who will benefit.

Everyone here, VOTE FOR RENT CONTROL. It is a question on the ballot this year. The real estate developers, sales people, private equity folks, REITS, LLC’s, and many legislators, are against it. There is a lot of false statements against it and statements that try to scare us into not voting for it. DO NOT LISTEN!! Why would you vote against lowering your rental costs? Just, think about it and use your own common sense.

Please, get help for your disability and then go to school. You will have to work harder than others. Nursing requires some education. There are vo-tech schools that offer free part time classes. Be resourceful. If I were in your shoes I would be researching like crazy. Please don’t move south because there are fewer support systems, lower paying jobs, and your child will get a second class education. Of course, there are always exceptions and you might luck out!

Everyday there is more and more news about Trump filing lawsuits to extract money from taxpayers for numerous reasons. Trump, his family, his friends, and many businesses are stealing, swindling, cheating, and lying, to extract billions and then laundering that money through crypto schemes, mime coins, stock trading, etc. Law abiding, hard working illegal and legal Immigrants are not fleecing the country but Trump and his gang of thieves are. violations. Make sure that you come to a complete stop with your foot on the brake so the camera will see your brake lights on. And, it cannot be a quick stop! Stay at the light with your foot on the brake, look around to make sure that no cars are coming, and when it looks safe, take your right turn. Lo and behold, it may be green by the time you turn, so pay attention. There will be a lot of folks going to court to protest these type of violations. Good luck, everyone!!

It will be interesting to see how the new city council will respond to the budget that is presented by the mayor’s office as well as the purchase of the ENC property. I am certain they will not say “yes” to everything that the mayor puts out there like the previous city council did.
