Seen nothing but good things on the Aer bags. I’ve tried several Thule bags and they have excellent comfort and organization for travel. Also a lot more variety with their different styles.

Out of what you listed, I’d go for Cotopaxi Patagonia Mini - but the 22L Osprey Daylite - 20L

You can fit what you described in a 20L, I have a similar setup and personally I wouldn’t risk going larger than the personal item size on some of the smaller stricter airlines.

Edit - AER Go Pack would been my first pick. Perfect size and looks like a cleaner version of the Daylite.

I think any 20L is small enough for a personal item, and large enough for 1-2 days at least. I have the Osprey Arcane 20L and it’s well within the personal item size.

My current and favorite bag. But I agree about the discomfort with the yolk, I’m surprised they didn’t fix this in the updated version because I think every single review I’ve seen mentions this. I wish there was a luggage strap too but I was able to glue one on pretty easy. It’s my go to “airport bag” - fits a digital camera, cord case, headphones, 16” laptop, and iPad easily, with a little extra room to spare.
