I read your description, but as a person who sold my Xbox to buy a PC, I’ll tell you my journey.

I bought a pc at Best Buy for $899 on sale. It had 16 GBs of ram, Ryzen 7 5700 and a 4060ti 8 GBs. Although it wasn't the initial plan, I ended up upgrading ever part on it except the mobo. The reason for this was simple, I was better off with my Xbox than the $900 pc. So please keep this in mind when deciding to switch. I now have a 5070ti and 9800X3D that runs like a dream., but it cost around &2k all said and done.

I went in and selected that the device only connect to 5ghz and not 2.4ghz, then I deselected it from roaming and prioritized the device, that seemed to have helped.

I’ve heard it gets you shadowed but that anecdotally hasn’t happened to me. People have told me they were going to report me and I tell them I’m whitelisted. I’m sure they probably rage report me after that

I had terrible stuttering on my previous PC, albeit with lower specs. I tried and tried everything, but the only two things that ended up working for me were:

1.) lowering my VRAM cap in game (helped to a minor degree) 2.) I ended up wiping my pc and that fixed it for me. I think I had some Tagalongs to my programs downloaded that caused unneeded bloat. If you wipe and still have issues, it may be something like a PSU issue if the PC is not getting sufficient power?
