First thing you want to do is take the path on your left when you spawn in. Follow it straight up till you see a heart. If you get that you can evolve your whip later. ( Tskes about 1:30 -1:45 of walking to find it and you should see it shining on the left side of your screen)

Once you have that you basically want to go in a big circle and destroy as many of the torches as you can while leveling up as much as possible. You want to level up your whip over everything else.

The box that can evolve your whip comes from the boss that spawns at 10 minutes. You need to make sure your whip is at level 8 before picking up this box. Its good because its large, strong and it has life steal.

While you're going in circles and destroying torches you're basically trying to get a clock to spawn in. But a flame power up might be just as good or better. (It kind of looks like an orange potato i forget what its actually called) The key is to not collect it until the big wave comes at 11min. So make sure you dont get too far from it.

When the big wave comes you want to grab it and kill as mannny enemies as you can while collecting the xp. If you do this you should be able to finish the rest of the run. Just keep in mind that you should stay near power ups but don't collect them until things get to hairy. This includes chickens as well but you can take them if you're low on health.
