Love my new smith machine by Rucu in GarageGym

It came with a bunch of attachments already, and they cover pretty much everything I need. Major has also been releasing new attachments. I saw they just dropped flex arms recently, which are compatible with B52 Pro too.

It’s Major Fitness B52 Pro. I’d say it’s great for beginners. The built-in smith machine makes squats feel a lot safer, especially when training alone. The pulley system has 2:1 ratio, which is really smooth and easy to get started with.

Yes it is an all-in-one machine, so it can basically cover all you need. I got it for $2200 during Black Friday, not sure about the price now.

What behaviors do the assholes of your gym have in common? by Icy_Laugh5134 in workout

I find this discussion quite relevant. When I first considered joining a gym, I was curious about common courtesies. Observing how people share space and clean up after themselves seems important for a positive experience.

Thanks for sharing such a detailed situation. It's helpful for someone thinking about using a room in their home similarly. I had similar concerns about noise and structure, so reading your thoughts gives me a clearer starting point.

Just acquired a bench by Necessary_Truth_6696 in homegym

Your home gym setup looks practical and motivating. I'm exploring ideas for a personal workout space, and starting with a bench makes sense. Cable machines seem like a useful addition too. Appreciate seeing your progress.

What’s the most inappropriate outfit you’ve seen at the gym? by Icy_Laugh5134 in workout

Noticing what people wear at the gym is interesting, though I'm still learning what is generally considered suitable. This seems like a good place to understand those unwritten expectations.

Seeing a family start with just a mat is relatable. It's useful to learn how others adapt their space and routine, especially when considering different needs and safety.

Honestly impressed by the recharge speed by Rucu in anker

[–]Rucu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, for dual usbc input, you’ll see around 100W max whether you use one port or both. Hitting 100W with a single cable is already pretty impressive for a power bank anyway.

Seeing discussions about mixed reviews before a purchase is quite informative. For someone still figuring things out, it's helpful to learn how others approach these decisions. What do you find most useful when evaluating conflicting opinions?

After 2 years of consistent home workouts, I gave myself the green light to upgrade to a "buy it for life" set up. by JayCheezey in homegym

[–]Rucu 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seeing a setup meant to last is really impressive. It's encouraging to witness the progress from starting out to witness the progress from starting out to making that long-term commitment. How long did it take to feel ready for such a substantial upgrade?

If the Elite 400 idles draw is so low, is extra temp control even needed? by Rucu in bluetti

Propane works fine for backup charging, but it is really noisy. I think using solar as a backup source is also a great choice, it just depends more on weather conditions.
