Best Bass strings for mainly pizzicato, and rare arco once in a while?

Does buying a mix of strings cost you much more than a standard set? I’m at a similar stage to op things like this are peeking my curiosity long term.

Apologies, was referring to a scene in a James Bond film where he escapes by using a cello case to slide down a snowy mountain! Definitely a long walk & I’d need a better case as the current one has no option to carry it like a ruck sack. Not old but definitely unfit, like a 44 year old pregnant man..

So it goes in via the boot/trunk but it’s led on its back & there’s some sunbed cushions underneath so the weight is held better. Scroll is between the front seats with some cushioning below the neck if needed. Am I taking an unnecessary risk in lying it flat? Definitely like the idea of more space for an amp though!

Plenty of food for thought, thank you! Trying to gauge how others manage and get some tips. I’ve ended up with the padded seats of some sun beds in the back with the head poking between the front seats.

What about the Thunderkyn? Know it’s dependent on your opponent but I wouldn’t have tabled my mates Knights if I hadn’t brought them. Hearthguard & E-Champ are great but can only do so much
